APPLICATION PROCESS

  1. What is the application process and how long does it take?Search for a job online, fill out an application, attach your resume and you will be contacted by one of our recruiters.
  2. Is there any negotiation of the hourly wage? Unfortunately, the hourly wage is generally not negotiable. 
  3. Does the job require a security clearance? Most jobs do not require a mandatory security clearance. However, mandatory background checks for employment and criminal history are extensive. Drug screens are also required and extensive. Felony convictions make candidates ineligible.
  4. Does this job require a physical? If so, what conditions are disqualifying? Yes, all candidates are subject to a medical exam which includes a stringent drug screen. Disqualifying conditions include testing positive for drug use. Your recruiter can provide project-specific information.
  5. How long will my job last?  It is not possible to determine how long your job will last as projects need different level of technicians at different stages of the project.
  6. How many openings are there for these positions? There will be different numbers of openings for different technicians at the different projects. Our recruiter can let you know specifics if you'll reach us through the Contact Us feature on this website.  Please note that all positions are for projects in the United States.
  7. How soon do you need to fill these positions? Some positions will need to be filled on as soon as possible. We will also be recruiting telecom tower technicians and tower supervisors for upcoming needs. Our recruiter can let you know specifics if you'll give us a call.
  8. I am interested in this job. What are the next steps in the hiring process? The steps in the hiring process are these:
    1. We receive your expression of interest by phone call or visit to our website.
    2. You create a profile on this website.
    3. You apply for a job an include your updated resume or work experience and qualifications, including
      1. employers,
      2. your job titles,
      3. start date / end date (months/days/years),
      4. specifics of work done and skills used,
      5. trade and/ and or safety certifications, and
      6. formal training.

  9. Is a drug test done as part of the application process? Yes. You will be required to pass a multi-panel drug screen.
  10. Is there a background check? What would be disqualifying?
    • Yes. You will have to pass a background check that will include employment/work experience verification as well as investigation of criminal history and Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) records.
    • Employment: ITC must be able to verify your work history for you to be eligible for consideration for the position for which you are applying.

  3. What is the primary kind of work the is company engaged in?  Our clients are engaged in the communications and telecommunications business and operate in all types of environments. Some are owners and carriers and others are telecommunications equipment manufacturers.
  4. Does the company hire employees with no prior work experience? Some of our work does not require that you have tower climbing experience, but we prefer that you have either three years work experience in a related field, or that you have recent military experience, especially in a communications capacity.
